The Robert Hunter Memorial Lecture is an annual event that celebrates his life and legacy. This is the 10th year of the lecture series, delivered each year by an invited speaker on issues close to Bob’s heart and work. In connection with the lecture series, the Robert Hunter Scholarship is given out by the University of Toronto’s School of the Environment to outstanding students with preference given to students focusing on climate. This year, the Lecture series came full circle. A new speaker and philosopher, Thomas Hart shared Hunter’s “mind bomb” message to a crowd of hundreds, young and old, friends and strangers.
